'The Killing Pens' by Janet Hughes

Many of you will know of Janet Hughes who fought so bravely through the British Courts to 'Save the Sheep' during the FMD epidemic in 2001.

Janet's efforts to stop the unnecessary slaughter of the healthy hefted sheep in the Brecon Beacons may have been thought foolhardy by some, or a waste of time by others, especially when she did not win her case, but there can be little doubt that she is one of the people who really did 'make a difference'!

With a foreword by Christopher Booker - which can be read if you click here! - her book will be published very soon and there can't be many who will not be interested to learn just what it's like for an ordinary Mother to take on the British Government through the Courts.
